Meet Miss Marie, a stunning young lady who bears a striking resemblance to her mama, Cupcake. Her coat is a beautiful tapestry of grey, white, and delicate peach markings that make her truly stand out. In fact, her name was inspired by a specific peach mark on her head that, as a tiny kitten, looked exactly like a tied ribbon bow, like Marie from Disney’s Aristocats! While she is growing into a graceful cat, that sweet ‘ribbon’ remains a reminder of her gentle and charming nature.

Having grown up as one of ten siblings, Marie is a true pack member who simply wouldn’t cope as an only cat. She is one of the quieter souls of the litter and can be a little hesitant when faced with new situations or loud noises. However, it never takes her long to find her bravery. Once she feels secure, her playful side emerges, and she is right back in the thick of things—rough-and-tumbling with her siblings, batting at her favourite toys, or conquering the heights of the cat tree.

Marie’s absolute favourite pastime isn’t playing, though—it’s snuggling. She is a professional-level cuddler who could happily receive pats and chin scratches all day and night. She is wonderful with humans of all ages, from respectful children to older adults, and has integrated beautifully with all the other cats in her foster home. While she was initially a bit wary of the resident dogs, she has shown she can coexist peacefully with calm, respectful canine friends given a patient and careful introduction.

Because she relies so much on the confidence of her family, Marie will need to be rehomed with one of her siblings. She needs a forever home that understands she might need a few extra minutes to find her feet in a new environment, but promises that the reward is a lifetime of soft purrs and devoted companionship. If you have room in your heart for a gentle beauty and one of her playmates, Miss Marie is ready to settle into your lap and stay there.

Miss Marie is one of Cupcake’s impressive litter of ten! (yes – 10!) kittens. Cupcake won hearts all over Perth when we recently shared her story. She will be so happy to see her beloved babies in their fur-ever homes.

Adoption fee is $375 which includes Miss Marie’s sterilisation, microchipping, up-to-date vaccination and flea/worm treatment.
